OCTOPUS database v.2.2 (07.2024)

OCTOPUS is a web-enabled database for visualizing, querying, and downloading cosmogenic radionuclide, luminescence, radiocarbon ages, and denudation rates related to erosional landscapes, Quaternary depositional landforms, and paleoecological, paleoenvironmental, and archaeological records. It also includes ancillary geospatial data layers.

Supported by the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage (CABAH), the database also received funding from the University of Wollongong and the Australian National Data Service (ANDS), now part of the Australian Research Data Commons.

For an overview of the database, read the accompanying publication in the journal Earth System Science Data, and for in-depth data, attribute, and output descriptions, read the online documentation.
